Moving Furniture...burns fat...

Yesterday and Today.. I moved more furniture around, and hauled more books thru the house than I have in a LONG time. I filled four book shelves full. Oh my goodness, I kept telling myself only 10 more trips down the hallways. haha We bought some shelves and my husband decided he was going to put lights in the top. Well, at first I was thinking 'oh brother' hahah But after it was all finished I look at the finished project..and I was quite impressed. However, guess what is under each spotlight on the top shelf?? His collector cars.. no wonder he was wanting to complete the project hahah. I think that is a great idea to dress up any shelf. Anyway, with moving all these books and shelves around, I felt like my body received quite a workout. Tomorrow I am going to be putting up window treatments.

Hi! I found your site through Crystal's! I've bookmarked it and plan on keeping up with you! I have been walking on my treadmill every day since March 1st, and plan to continue!I have a good amount of weight I'd like to lose, but also just want to be healthy!I have 6 children and am a SAHM, married to my wonderful husband for over 22 years now. Thanks Marlina I really do appreciate your kind words. Support really does make a difference. My goodness 6 kids? How wonderful. I agree with you I want to be healthy most of all.. I am officially turning 30 this year.. and I think I am feeling it. haha.

Yup! I hear you, I'm 40 now, and not getting any younger! I want to be "arm candy" for my husband! (Does that sound yucky?!)
Anyway, I need to get brave and have one of the kids take my "before" pic too. YIKES! :) Keep up the great work!

PS. I haven't been working on the eating aspect yet, but am doing 1 hour daily on the treadmill. (In March I did 1/2 hour daily.)

haha no that doesn't sound yucky. I understand completely!!!!!!!! :) Wow you are on the treadmill one hour everyday??? How do you find time? I hardly can with 2 kids. But that is so great!! I have no excuse really.. i need to start walking. grrr haha :) A before picture is something I have never done before.. I hate it..but it does make me confront reality ha :)

A little about me...



It is that time again!!!! I am thinking of attempting to lose weight for the 100 millionth time. haha. This time I know it will work :)

In November of 2007, I gave birth to my second child, a C-Section. Not only did that put me back physically, but I also developed high blood pressure. I am only 29. Talk about discouraging.

I started gaining weight in highschool. Seems to have followed me everywhere. My ultimate goal is to lose 120 lbs but I'll settle for 10 right now. haha.

There is absolutely no reason why I cannot succeed in this weight loss endeavor. I have exercise equipment. I guess that means I have to use it. Also, I am going to attempt the Carbohydrates Addict Diet. I have had some success with this in the past.

So I am thinking, with putting my progress out for the world to see.. it will force me to make the right choices. Let's hope!! Feel free to comment on anything or tell your story. It's always encouraging to hear about others successes. Join me on this weight loss journey...
