Encourage with a Card...

I love shopping at Target...I especially love the clearance end caps lol This week I found a box of greeting cards with beautiful embellishments and a place for a picture on each card. Sending out cards is such a wonderful way to encourage someone. I really enjoy making people happy in that way.. I paid only $6.88 for 20 cards!! I was sooooooooooo excited for my find. (I hate paying $3 to $4 for one card...) The box says its worth $50..I pay only $6ish.. I'd say that's pretty FRUGAL lol I cannot wait to start sending out cards.. Anyone have a birthday coming up? lol (nevermind I only have 20 lol)
Oh, they had an entire end cap full of these greeting card boxes.. might be some left for you lol

Thanks for the kind words on my site!!! I saw these same cards at Sam's yesterday, and almost bought them. I can relate to your post above this one. I have had three c-sections. The last one was for my twins, I was 31 and still have the jello tummy around my waist. Pilates has worked wonders for me and is easy to do at home.

Thanks for reminding me about the clearance section at Target. Usually it's the same old junk, but I need to remember to peruse it on occasion.

It's also possible to find nice unused greeting cards at yard sales - last weekend I scored 52 of them at 5 cents a card!

Grace and peace to you!

I wanted to tell you I made the air freshner last night.. with Lavender oil and water.. and to my utter surprise it worked!!! lol I also used it on the linen ...even my husband was impressed.. lol Thanks for the idea.

A little about me...

It is that time again!!!! I am thinking of attempting to lose weight for the 100 millionth time. haha. This time I know it will work :)

In November of 2007, I gave birth to my second child, a C-Section. Not only did that put me back physically, but I also developed high blood pressure. I am only 29. Talk about discouraging.

I started gaining weight in highschool. Seems to have followed me everywhere. My ultimate goal is to lose 120 lbs but I'll settle for 10 right now. haha.

There is absolutely no reason why I cannot succeed in this weight loss endeavor. I have exercise equipment. I guess that means I have to use it. Also, I am going to attempt the Carbohydrates Addict Diet. I have had some success with this in the past.

So I am thinking, with putting my progress out for the world to see.. it will force me to make the right choices. Let's hope!! Feel free to comment on anything or tell your story. It's always encouraging to hear about others successes. Join me on this weight loss journey...
