Weigh In Wednesday




Seems like I lose between 2 and 3 lbs a week. Kind of wish it was more, but I am happy that its been pretty consistent. I really started intentional exercise this last week: Treadmill, stretch bands, (don't laugh but...) jump rope hahh. Not as easy as when I was a kid. lol I have til Friday to make my first 20lb goal..so we will see.

3 lbs is great! I forget, how much have you lost now? Will you meet your goal this week?
I'm still walking, but doctoring my blisters...I think I'm walking too long, so I'm going to cut back a bit...I'm killing myself walking, that's not good! The scale is not being nice either. I'm still down 2lbs....
Hang in there, you are doing great!
PS. Are you going to put up progress pics?? :)

17 lbs as of now.. don't think I will lose 3 by tomorrow..but.. im close enough? lol You have blisters from walking??? Goodness, you must be really pushing yourself.. or is it your shoes?? What is your eating regiment? I think I am going to have to switch my food a little just so my body doesn't plateau. Oh..and progress pictures haha well I am considering it.. we will see. I can really tell with the inches lost how my clothes fit but not so sure you could tell in a photo haha. Thanks for your encouragement every week.. I really appreciate.. and so great that you are working hard too. :)

Hi, Tara. You left a comment on my site (www.xanga.com/TrentTribe). I thought I'd come over to meet you. Poking around your posts, I found that you are doing carb addict. I did a search at my local library and found the book. I'm going to check it out. I currently weigh 210 and I'm 5'4". My goal is to weigh less than 150. You've inspired me, I'm going to try it. Congratulations on losing 3 pounds. It's so great that you are exercising, too. Now that the weather is nice, I'm finally going for walks with my kids. I think that the exercise will help me start to lose some pounds now. I really need to switch from sugary coffee to water though.

A little about me...



It is that time again!!!! I am thinking of attempting to lose weight for the 100 millionth time. haha. This time I know it will work :)

In November of 2007, I gave birth to my second child, a C-Section. Not only did that put me back physically, but I also developed high blood pressure. I am only 29. Talk about discouraging.

I started gaining weight in highschool. Seems to have followed me everywhere. My ultimate goal is to lose 120 lbs but I'll settle for 10 right now. haha.

There is absolutely no reason why I cannot succeed in this weight loss endeavor. I have exercise equipment. I guess that means I have to use it. Also, I am going to attempt the Carbohydrates Addict Diet. I have had some success with this in the past.

So I am thinking, with putting my progress out for the world to see.. it will force me to make the right choices. Let's hope!! Feel free to comment on anything or tell your story. It's always encouraging to hear about others successes. Join me on this weight loss journey...
