Excellent!! I'm so happy for you reaching your first goal! (I think that is a big one!!)
Still walking, not losing. I have a friend who joined a gym, and after 2 weeks is down 5 lbs....I'm happy for her, but SHEESH!! Am I gonna lose, ever?? It's not like my eating has increased or anything...Still trying to figure that one out.
Anyway, I'm so happy for you!! I hope this reached goal keeps you motivated to hit that next goal!

Hi! Came to check on your progress. Congratulations! I checked out the book you recommended. I was thrilled our library had it! So, I started the basic plan yesterday. Hope I can report weight loss next Wednesday. BTW, I scored Moderate on the quiz. Any advice for me?

I wanted to add that my starting weight is 208. My weight loss goal is 10 lbs by June 18th. Giving up diet soda and sugar is hard. I hope I don't need a rehab (lol).

Keep up the great work!! That is awesome! I like to think of Dori's philosophy (from Nemo) when I see a goal that seems daunting. She sings, "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming." You can do it!!

Hey Marlina.. I am real sorry you aren't having much progress.. Have you changed your eating up? I know sometimes our bodies get used to the same food and won't release the fat.. dumb isn't it? lol Thanks again for being such an encouragement to me! :)

Hi Tara,

I just wanted to say "hi" because I saw you dropped by my blog! I'm so glad you did, I love "meeting" new people!

Also, I haven't had a chance to peruse your blog yet, but I have to say that spark people helped me lose weight after my second baby. I highly recommend them! www.sparkpeople.com Good luck!

Hmmm...I have no idea if you got my last comment...

A little about me...

It is that time again!!!! I am thinking of attempting to lose weight for the 100 millionth time. haha. This time I know it will work :)

In November of 2007, I gave birth to my second child, a C-Section. Not only did that put me back physically, but I also developed high blood pressure. I am only 29. Talk about discouraging.

I started gaining weight in highschool. Seems to have followed me everywhere. My ultimate goal is to lose 120 lbs but I'll settle for 10 right now. haha.

There is absolutely no reason why I cannot succeed in this weight loss endeavor. I have exercise equipment. I guess that means I have to use it. Also, I am going to attempt the Carbohydrates Addict Diet. I have had some success with this in the past.

So I am thinking, with putting my progress out for the world to see.. it will force me to make the right choices. Let's hope!! Feel free to comment on anything or tell your story. It's always encouraging to hear about others successes. Join me on this weight loss journey...
