Weigh in Wednesday

Oh my word, what a bad RESULT week. Not quite sure why.. I did not have any positive results, seeing that I did exactly what I did the week before. However, a few weeks back I remember having a 1/2 lb gain grrr.. so maybe this is just one of those weeks. Well, at least I still lost inches...that is consistent every week if anything is... How did you do??

Hi, Tara. Wow! This diet is working great! I did go ahead and eliminate the diet soda. I read that artificial sweeteners can cause you to release extra insulin and prohibit weight loss. I went from three or four cans of diet soda each day to one every few days during my reward meal. If I have an urge to drink a diet soda, I have decided to allow myself no more than one a day. But most days, I just don't want one. This has been really good for my grocery budget! Last Wednesday, I weighed 208lbs, today I weigh 205 lbs. I'm thrilled with a three pound weight loss. (I've lost six pounds in almost two weeks.) This is the best results, I've ever had. I'm not having the episodes of low blood sugar and the overwhelming cravings are much much less. (All of this along with PMS.) I am so impressed with this diet. Thanks for turning me on to it! Keep up your good work. Inches lost is great! (Sometimes more reliable than the scales. I hadn't thought to measure inches. I'll have to do that!) My shortterm goal is still ten pounds for June 18th. I set this goal on Wednesday when I weighed 208lbs. Three pounds down - seven to go! Thank you! If I hadn't found your blog and if you hadn't found mine - I'd have never known about this diet.

A little about me...

It is that time again!!!! I am thinking of attempting to lose weight for the 100 millionth time. haha. This time I know it will work :)

In November of 2007, I gave birth to my second child, a C-Section. Not only did that put me back physically, but I also developed high blood pressure. I am only 29. Talk about discouraging.

I started gaining weight in highschool. Seems to have followed me everywhere. My ultimate goal is to lose 120 lbs but I'll settle for 10 right now. haha.

There is absolutely no reason why I cannot succeed in this weight loss endeavor. I have exercise equipment. I guess that means I have to use it. Also, I am going to attempt the Carbohydrates Addict Diet. I have had some success with this in the past.

So I am thinking, with putting my progress out for the world to see.. it will force me to make the right choices. Let's hope!! Feel free to comment on anything or tell your story. It's always encouraging to hear about others successes. Join me on this weight loss journey...
