Aloha Friday

An Island Life is hosting Aloha Friday.
I thought it would be fun to participate. All you have to do is answer the question I ask by leaving a
comment. Then click over to An Island Life and link up to Aloha Friday with your own question!

My Question:

If you were to write a book about your life.. are there things you would leave out? Or would you tell all?

My Answer:

Hmmm.. I think if I was going to the trouble of writing a book.. I would think I would tell most.. in order to be true to my life.. but probably not everything :)

Don't we all have skeletons in our closets? I am not sure if I am ready to let those bad boys out!....LOL. Maybe I would have to skip some chapters.

Why write a book about yourself if you're going to leave things out?

I'd tell it all!

Fun question! It'd be a Tell-All! No doubt about it......

Of course, I'd leave things out. There's no way to include everything and I'd be writing it with a specific purpose, so I'd leave out everything that didn't make my point.

I would tell most.. but not everything.. a little mystery never harmed someone:)

Stopping by from An Island Life!

I've thought about this before and would definitely leave things out - not necessarily because I want to forget about them (although there are certainly those things), but because no one wants to hear someone's ENTIRE life story. We want to have some sense of cohesion, of importance; that the person we are reading about found some purpose to their life, and that the stories they choose to include help to show how that purpose was discovered and achieved. That's my take, anyway. If people are really interested in my dramatic 10th-grade self they can read my journal.

I'd tell all, just b/c I my life has been pretty boring. I've always been the "Good Girl". The times I've done some "Exciting" things would have to be shared, just b/c those would probably be the best chapters.

My life hasn't really been interesting enough to write a book about, in my humble opinion. If I left out the juicy parts it would REALLY be a snoozer!

Happy Aloha Friday!!

Well I don't know..I might have to add some material.. On the other hand I think my family would have made a good Soap Opera. do not think a book would do it justice:-)

It would be the least read book, but i would tell all, my life is not overly exciting, so I might need everthing to fill the pages. ;)

I think I'd tell all. My life hasn't been so interesting that I need to hide things.

Depending on how old I was and how long I had to live with people asking me about everything, I would tell-all! ha!

I don't think I'd tell all. There are some things in life better left in the past and unspoken.

I would for sure just tell all.

I'm thinking the skeletons would be the most interesting parts of this kind of book, right?

Depends on who in my family is still alive when I write it. rofl..

I would leave things out, not because I have huge secrets to hide, but simply because I believe some parts of my life are private and no one else's business.

I think I would leave out a few things but tell most everything else. There are just some things that no one ever needs to know.

I would tell all! THere are some really gripping and funny things that would grab readers :)

I'd probably tell all. I'm an open book anyway. ;)

A little about me...

It is that time again!!!! I am thinking of attempting to lose weight for the 100 millionth time. haha. This time I know it will work :)

In November of 2007, I gave birth to my second child, a C-Section. Not only did that put me back physically, but I also developed high blood pressure. I am only 29. Talk about discouraging.

I started gaining weight in highschool. Seems to have followed me everywhere. My ultimate goal is to lose 120 lbs but I'll settle for 10 right now. haha.

There is absolutely no reason why I cannot succeed in this weight loss endeavor. I have exercise equipment. I guess that means I have to use it. Also, I am going to attempt the Carbohydrates Addict Diet. I have had some success with this in the past.

So I am thinking, with putting my progress out for the world to see.. it will force me to make the right choices. Let's hope!! Feel free to comment on anything or tell your story. It's always encouraging to hear about others successes. Join me on this weight loss journey...
