My Question:

Did you have a Main Chore you were responsible for growing up?

My Answer:

YES! lol I was number 3 of 8 kids.. and my job was Laundry! I was responsible for 10 peoples laundry! lol UGH laundry I hate it!!! (That is probably why I often forget the clothes in the washing machine) lol

We had regular chores, but they rotated between the six kids.

Oh boy i had so many.. actually me and my older sister were sharing them(i remember she was the one skipping most of them and then naturally they all came to me..yeah i was the smaller sister..bummer:()
Anyway the one i hated most was taking the trash out and washing the dishes.. oh and dusting.. i hated dusting.. oh and also vacuuming(my mom had carpet back then.. horrible story i tell you)
I hated everything my mom made me to do actually(especially since my sister always got her way out of it for some reason.. grrrrr...):P

Living on a farm I had A LOT of chores. It would take a long time to list them. lol But those were some of the best days of my life! My AF

I never had anything really regular, aside from feeding and cleaning my parakeets cage. Aside from that I did things when asked.

I can't remember anyone doing chores. How sad.

Happy Friday!

Cleaning the stairs. We shared in washing the dishes and setting the table.

No, I didn't have any set job or chore growing up. I guess I had it pretty easy.

I did not have a specific chore that was mine.

I can't imagine being from a family of 8 children! I bet you have built in friends around all the time:)

my sister and I rotated chores. our chores includes cleaning the dishes, cleaning the house and a whole lot of cleaning, yard chores, and etc. the only thing we did not do was laundry.

Not really, I was an only child and raised by my grandparents so I guess I was rather spoiled in some ways. That and the fact that Grandma had very definite ideas about how she wanted things done and I usually didn't get them quite right :-)

I had two younger siblings.

But me being the oldest had most of the chores.

Every Friday I did all the laundry (washed, dried and folded).
Scrubbed both bathrooms.
Cleaned the bird cage
Vacuumed
Dusted

We split up the chores in my house...no one had a certain chore.

Yuck - 10 ppl's laundry? I was one of 5 kids and we all did our own laundry - that also meant my little sister sometimes wore dirty clothes to school LOL
My mom would rotate the chores around. I would change from being in charge of the living room, to bathroom to kitchen...it all depended on the week

I always did the vacuuming every Saturday morning. I use to hate that job but doing laundry for 10 sounds much worse.

I didn't have any chores, my mom did everything.

A little about me...

It is that time again!!!! I am thinking of attempting to lose weight for the 100 millionth time. haha. This time I know it will work :)

In November of 2007, I gave birth to my second child, a C-Section. Not only did that put me back physically, but I also developed high blood pressure. I am only 29. Talk about discouraging.

I started gaining weight in highschool. Seems to have followed me everywhere. My ultimate goal is to lose 120 lbs but I'll settle for 10 right now. haha.

There is absolutely no reason why I cannot succeed in this weight loss endeavor. I have exercise equipment. I guess that means I have to use it. Also, I am going to attempt the Carbohydrates Addict Diet. I have had some success with this in the past.

So I am thinking, with putting my progress out for the world to see.. it will force me to make the right choices. Let's hope!! Feel free to comment on anything or tell your story. It's always encouraging to hear about others successes. Join me on this weight loss journey...
