Inspiring Gift Pack ~ Giveaway

Almost every one of us...has been touched by someone who has struggled with Breast Cancer. For me, it was my Grandmother. I was so thankful to be able to live with her the last few months of her fight with cancer. Those times were so special to me. We developed such a wonderful relationship, and I learned so much more about her. She was so strong, and was a fighter to the end.

The Pink color is now our little reminder of all the people dealing with Breast Cancer. I am happy and honored to offer one of my readers a lovely Inspiring Gift Basket. Thanks to Pink Together who offered this wonderful reminder and gift through My Blog Spark.

I received my gift basket today in the mail, and was so pleased with the pink bag, sleeved travel mug, a running ribbon charm bracelet, a pink leather strap keychain, a pink cinch bag, and a set of inspirational note cards. Everything was excellent quality compliments of ShopK0men.com. This gift pack is a wonderful way to remember...

Breast cancer has become such a huge role in so many peoples lives. You would be hard pressed to find a person who has not been touched or at least knew someone with breast cancer. It amazes me that so many people have made it personal missions to stop this terrible disease from spreading. I loved my Grandmother so much and she was always a strong woman even through her cancer.

I find it amazing what people can accomplish when they pull together for a cause. It is one of the many things I love about this country. When someone is hurting, we are willing to work together to help out. I have not been personally touched by this but I know many who have.

My grandma is so inspiring to me. She is 75 and can do a cartwheel and the splits! She is the person I'm closest to on this Earth. She was diagnosed with breast cancer about 4 months ago. Luckily it was in the first stages and she just got done with radiation, so hopefully the next test will say the cancer is gone!

The woman in my life that inspires me the most is my eighty year old aunt who continually gives and cares for others, even me after I had an operation. Jeanine

A little about me...

It is that time again!!!! I am thinking of attempting to lose weight for the 100 millionth time. haha. This time I know it will work :)

In November of 2007, I gave birth to my second child, a C-Section. Not only did that put me back physically, but I also developed high blood pressure. I am only 29. Talk about discouraging.

I started gaining weight in highschool. Seems to have followed me everywhere. My ultimate goal is to lose 120 lbs but I'll settle for 10 right now. haha.

There is absolutely no reason why I cannot succeed in this weight loss endeavor. I have exercise equipment. I guess that means I have to use it. Also, I am going to attempt the Carbohydrates Addict Diet. I have had some success with this in the past.

So I am thinking, with putting my progress out for the world to see.. it will force me to make the right choices. Let's hope!! Feel free to comment on anything or tell your story. It's always encouraging to hear about others successes. Join me on this weight loss journey...
