Dora Brings Joy...

Well, My tip AGAIN is to shop Target's Clearance Aisles.. I find the neatest things. See the Dora Tent/Castle? I paid $9 2 days ago. I have seen these as much as $59. My kids have been going crazy over the silly thing :) I also found some really pretty placemats for $1.39! I know it drives my husband nuts ...as I must check every aisle.. but he always thanks me later haha :)

I love Target clearance! I just bought a set of those vinyl wall decorations for my daughters' room for $6.48. I can spend hours in Target, and have to keep tabs on all of the clearance spots.

We're big fans of Target, and we always 'shop the perimeter' first! I saw some amazing buys on toys. I bought a few to put away for either birthdays or next Christmas. I don't have littles (my littlest is 19, LOL) but I do have a 4-year-old nephew and also buy for my neighbor's kids, who are like nieces to me.
But I confess...I bought this awesome toy that is a realistic-looking lion cub. He opens and closes his eyes, purrs and makes cute noises and even snores when he 'falls asleep.' I can't remember the brand, only that it was $60 marked down to $15. My confession is that I bought it for me, although the dog likes it, too! I think Shadow things Liony-Piony is real! (Yeah, toys are demented for a 54-year-old, but they keep me young at heart.)

You are so right about Target! I go in there twice a week and I can always find something on clearance that I can put away for a birthday or Christmas for pennies. I just Target :)

A little about me...

It is that time again!!!! I am thinking of attempting to lose weight for the 100 millionth time. haha. This time I know it will work :)

In November of 2007, I gave birth to my second child, a C-Section. Not only did that put me back physically, but I also developed high blood pressure. I am only 29. Talk about discouraging.

I started gaining weight in highschool. Seems to have followed me everywhere. My ultimate goal is to lose 120 lbs but I'll settle for 10 right now. haha.

There is absolutely no reason why I cannot succeed in this weight loss endeavor. I have exercise equipment. I guess that means I have to use it. Also, I am going to attempt the Carbohydrates Addict Diet. I have had some success with this in the past.

So I am thinking, with putting my progress out for the world to see.. it will force me to make the right choices. Let's hope!! Feel free to comment on anything or tell your story. It's always encouraging to hear about others successes. Join me on this weight loss journey...
