Skillet Bacon Jam Review

Have you heard of Skillet Bacon Jam?  I was given a sample to try, and at first.. I was hesitant.  I slowly removed the lid, wrinkling up my nose (just in case) in preparation... and OH MY WORD!  The smell is like being in Bacon Heaven.  Surely, it couldn't taste as good as it smelled..  Well.. let me just say I was shocked at the flavor.  It was unbelievable.  I think this is one of those occasions that I will borrow the cheesy saying "Party in my mouth".

what is skillet bacon jam?

"we make this bacon spread condiment called bacon say what?.. that’s right, we use niman ranch bacon and render it down along with onions, balsamic and other spices . It cooks for several hours until it is a perfect blend of smoky, tangy, savory and slightly sweet….basically spreadable bacony goodness!  USDA approved."

How Did I use Skillet Bacon Jam?

At first I wasn't sure how to use this incredible powerful bacon flavor.  So I started experimenting.

* Grilled Cheese Sandwich (spread the Bacon Jam inside the sandwich)

* Potato Soup (added just a tiny teaspoon to a huge pot)

* Eggs (added jam to the skillet)

Really, the possibilities are endless!

I absolutely love Bacon Jam, and I tell everyone about it! I know you want to know more, so head over to Bacon Jam's website!  You can also email them here for more info!

A little about me...

It is that time again!!!! I am thinking of attempting to lose weight for the 100 millionth time. haha. This time I know it will work :)

In November of 2007, I gave birth to my second child, a C-Section. Not only did that put me back physically, but I also developed high blood pressure. I am only 29. Talk about discouraging.

I started gaining weight in highschool. Seems to have followed me everywhere. My ultimate goal is to lose 120 lbs but I'll settle for 10 right now. haha.

There is absolutely no reason why I cannot succeed in this weight loss endeavor. I have exercise equipment. I guess that means I have to use it. Also, I am going to attempt the Carbohydrates Addict Diet. I have had some success with this in the past.

So I am thinking, with putting my progress out for the world to see.. it will force me to make the right choices. Let's hope!! Feel free to comment on anything or tell your story. It's always encouraging to hear about others successes. Join me on this weight loss journey...
