Nooski Mouse Trap Review

I offered to review a mouse trap not too long ago, and once I received the Nooski Mouse Trap I realized the pressure of trying to catch a mouse for a review! lol  I think I would probably catch a Scorpion here in the Southwest before I caught a mouse.  


So I tested the product manually.  I will say it took me a little bit to figure it out.  The directions are clearly on the side of the box.  However, I had to attempt a few times before I figured out the trigger mechanism.  The Mouse Trap kind of looks like a rocket ship.  

Some Cool Features:

*  Totally reusable!  Each trap comes with 10 Green silicon rings which means you could potentially catch 10 mice!  Ahhh!






*  The design is pretty neat, and sleek.  


*  Once you figure out how the trap works, it's pretty simple

Here I am Testing the Trap with a narrow spatula...It worked!  I tried to get my husband to put his hand in the trap..but no such luck! :)  It does give out a large snap when triggered.  

So I am confident, that IF I had a mouse lurking this Nooski Mouse Trap would be the answer, and for me considering the other options out there, I would say this could actually be the best mouse trap ever! :)

What Did I Think?

When I first open the box of the Sample Pack, I have to admit I was still looking for the product.  Why?  All the products look like cardboard.  My husband and I snickered a bit when we pulled out the first Cardboard Binder.  It literally looked like cardboard!  So the cool factor started sinking in after the initial Cardboard Shock wore off..

How neat that you can take something like Cardboard or other recycled items ect and turn it into awesome useful everyday products!  

CD Sleeve (Hitchcock movie not included )

The CD Sleeve is pretty neat!  This would be great for businesses to promote their CDs/DVDs.  The folders would work as a portfolio for work, school, resumes.  


Kids would really love these for school.  They could design their own binder, folders, or notebooks.  


I showed some family members the Sample Pack..and they were all pretty impressed saying they would all would use the products.  


What Did I Love?

First and foremost, I LOVE, LOVE that this is an American Company!  We need more Americans willing to make a good product, that is good for America!  The products are incredibly sturdy.  I love that instead of ending up in a landfill it ends up on my desk!  I love that you could really turn any of the products into a personalized item.

Nothing really!  Besides the Cardboard look, that actually ended up being pretty cool, I have no complaints!

Some Need - to - Know Tips:


1.  Oiling before each use is recommended.  (I used olive oil)
2.  Do not broil or place on the stovetop burner.  (Not recommended for temps above 450)
3.  Be careful not to put the pottery in extreme temps.  From cold to hot.  Not good.
4.  Not recommended to store in the freezer.
5.  Pottery can scratch furniture, so make sure to put a trivet or something under the pottery.



What did I think?

Small unglazed loaf Pan $11.00

Anything that is Dishwasher, Microwavable, and Oven safe is a WINNER for me!  But even with all these practical features..this adorable little loaf pan is beautiful and handcrafted!  My three year old daughter was even "wowed" but it's size and cuteness.  

I made my kids some mac and cheese!  So awesome!  I love how easy it was to cook in and clean!  Definitely need to coat the loaf pan in a little Olive oil before use!

Over all I am very impressed by the Artisan Bakeware from Emerson Creek Pottery!

Tassimo T20 Brewing System Review!

Last year I enjoyed reviewing the Tassimo T65 Brewing System.  I LOVED the T65!  And now Tassimo has surprised us again with another brilliant Tassimo machine!  I am so excited to talk about the NEW Tassimo T20 Brewing System.

The Tassimo T20 Brewing System is so cool.  One of my favorite and obvious features of the T20 is the removable center.  They offer a variety of colors in a color kit.  So you can choose a color that will match your kitchen or your office.  I was sent the White T20 with a Red center!  Which was perfect in matching my kitchen!

I already discussed the removable colored center.  I love the simplicity of the machine.  You only have two buttons.  Your ON/OFF button.  And one large round button to start your beverage.  I love how sleek the T20 design is compared to the T65.  Besides that it looks so awesome on my kitchen counter, it fits well.  The water tank fits like a glove to the back of the T20.

Making a full pot of coffee is fine.  But when you have guests over and everyone has a different taste, this machine is perfect.  In a short amount of time, your guests can be served teas, hot chocolates, coffees, cappuccinos without ever having to clean a coffee pot!

A cool feature is the bar coded beverage discs.  Each disc has a unique bar code that the T20 system reads and properly prepares!  This to me is soooo amazing.  How smart this machine is! :)


How it Works...

Sleek water tank

First, fill the water tank.  Pretty easy.  Choose which beverage you want.  Place the disc bar code facing down in the top, press the round lid down on the disc.  Make sure you put your coffee cup in the center.  All that is left..push the large round button.  And there you go!  Depending on which beverage you choose, it may take a minute or two to complete.  You can also manually hold the round button if you would like additional beverage in your cup.  (kinda cool).

What Kind of Beverages Does the T-20 Make?

Wow.  Tassimo offers a wide variety of beverages from some of your favorite brands.  Coffees, Teas, Hot Cocoa, Cappuccino/lattes, as well as some delicious specialty drinks.

I was given two beverages to try.  Starbucks Espresso Roast Latte (comes with a creamer disc), and the Gevalia Signature Blend Coffee.  I really love both beverages.

To Sum it up...

I Love the Tassimo brand!  I am so impressed with the quality of the brewing machines.  Everyone that comes over to my house, seems to notice the Tassimo makers sitting on my counter!  I love to talk about it's awesomeness!! :)  I recommend the Tassimo T20!

If you are looking for that perfect Christmas gift..you found it!  This gift keeps giving all year around!  Walmart even sells the Tassimo Brewing systems, and the beverage discs!

Twinlab Marine Friends Review and GIVEAWAY!

I was given the opportunity to review the NEW Twinlab® Marine Friends™ Children’s Omega-3 Powder.  

What Did I Think?

Pros:

I like that the Omega-3 powder comes in individual packets.  This makes it so much easier to quickly open and pour into a cup.  The powder is best used with a very cold beverage, smoothie, or sprinkled on food.  

I love that the product can be used by children age 1 all the way to adults!  Along, with all the health benefits (listed below in the Company words) I would recommend this product.  Such a great way to sneak nutrition into our kids diet!

Cons:

Personally, I don't care for the smell of fish nor do I eat fish.  And this Omega-3 powder has a very slight, and I mean slight, fishy smell.  I mixed it with cold grape juice but I could still taste a little of the powder.  This is more or less just a personal preference.
