R.I.P. Dear Toothbrush...

My 3 year old daughter is growing up so fast.  She is quite the little lady, who is fashion forward and quite opinionated about almost everything.  She likes her hair just so, and thankfully likes to keep her face and hands clean.  


What do I say to my darling daughter.. when she comes up to me with a semi wet face, wearing a proud grin.

"Mommy, I just cleaned my face"

Me:  "Oh good job!"

"Mommy, I used your toothbrush!"

Me:  "You..used my toothbrush to clean your face????" I feel the bile rising in my throat.

"Uh huh"

Me:  "Why is your hair wet?"  I ask quickly.. noticing streaks.. of damp hair.

She touches her hair.  Smiling again.  "I used your toothbrush to brush my hair too"

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh

This is one of those "Oh honey..I know you meant well.." moments.  You know the kind.. where you try to explain..to your child..they did so good trying to do right.. but.. not to ever use mommy's toothbrush again.  


Even as I type I am semi gagging at the thought of what other things my toothbrush has been used for... Goodbye dear toothbrush!

Wholly Guacamole Review & Giveaway! Ends April 1st!

Oh my word, I cannot tell you how thrilled I was to receive a cooler packed with Wholly All Natural products!  I think I had heard about this brand or have passed it quickly in the store, and to be honest I didn't even think I liked guacamole!  After committing myself to this review,  I have to confess I have fallen for Wholly Guacamole, Wholly Salsas, and last but not least Wholly Queso!  


The Salsas.. are so fresh, packed with unbelievable flavor.  It's like having a chef in your kitchen dicing up the tomato's right in front of you.  That's the kind of fresh that hits your mouth.


The Queso...ahhhh sweet cheese and salsa overload!  Perfect with chips.  Low fat of course :)  

The Guacamole..what a perfect addition to any dish.  My husband happens to love it on his sandwiches.  I love the convenient serving packs used by the biggest loser.  They are perfect for on the go snack or just to add to your sandwhich.  So much better then piling on the mayo!

Statillac Baseball Software Review!

Are you a sports lover? I wouldn't say I am crazy about sports, but I happen to be married to man that would live and breath sports if he could.  I was more than thrilled to have him help me with the Statillac Baseball Software Program review!  

My husband went thru the tutorial game, and was quite impressed.  He kept telling me how cool it was that you could keep track of all kinds of statistics.  


When you begin, you choose your team of choice, then the opposing team.  From there you can choose what type of match it will be, what the weather will be, home or away games, what the attendance is and even the referee.  Evidently this is all very important to keeping accurate statistics.  From choosing your players, to game line up, to the actual batting, pitching, fielding statistics.  Pretty cool.

Dapper Snappers Kid's Belt Review!

I received kids belt from Dapper Snapper to review.  I was able to try the little belt on my 3 year old daughters pants.  She is at that size right now where she is out of one size and barely into the next.  So her  pants are a little big around the waist. The belt loops through the back three loops of the pants.  Snaps in place.  And that's it!

Smiley Cookie Review!

Don't these cookies look amazing?  So the Smiley Cookie sent me a carton of gorgeous smiley heart sugar cookies to test out.  Of course I couldn't be terribly selfish..I shared them with family.  The cookies are huge first of all.  I really enjoyed these sugar cookies, because they weren't overly sweet.  My kids, nieces and nephews went crazy over them.  Not only did they taste good, the smiley face made them fun to eat!

Granola Gourmet Energy Bar Review!

Granola Gourmet sent me four flavored Granola bars to try and review.  I will admit to being slightly hesitant in taking the first bite.  It is very hard to find healthy food bars that taste decent.  However, I am happy to report that Granola Gourmet Energy Bars are off the charts.  I couldn't believe how delicious they were.  

I shared with my father, whom is Diabetic, and he said "I felt full after eating the granola bar.  The taste was great.  It seem to  hold me over for quite a while".  For a Diabetic this is a treat to have something that is healthy, taste great, and keeps the sugar levels where they should be.

T-Shirt Printing Review!

My goodness 2011 is flying by! Time to get started on my stack of reviews.  I was sent a T-Shirt from T-Shirt Printing to try out!  Of course I had to make my husband model this one.

This T-shirt shows off the company Mascot Monkey in the silk-screen printed unisex style!

What Did I Think?


The T-shirt itself was really great quality.  The material was strong and soft.  I decided to wash the T-Shirt a couple of times to see how the Silk Screen Monkey would hold up.  And to my surprise the T-Shirt came out great both times.  No cracks, or smudges in the print!  Now that is a sure sign of great quality T-Shirt printing.


T-Shirt Printing.net specializes in personalized T-Shirts.  They also have a long list of impressive options such as sweatshirts, hooded tops, kids shirts, ladies and men's shirts, Vests, Promotional wear, and even workwear printing!  Along with these design choices, there are a rainbow of colors to choose from.
